SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA, June 25, 2002 - Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, a globally recognized leader in the fixed wireless broadband industry, today announced significant feature enhancements to their extensive global deployments of the AB-Access broadband wireless portfolio of products. These key enhancements cover a wide variety of service improvements including increased RF range, support for near-UNII frequencies for international users, and greater QOS control, providing for individual and multiple service level agreements per subscriber and subscriber-based customers. Additionally, functional enhancements to the AB Net Access network management system were announced, which include simpler operation and a more intuitive user interface. According to Jerry Kollmann, Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Customer Support, customer feedback was instrumental in refining the capabilities and services within the AB-Access line and the company has taken active steps to deliver customer-requested features quickly. He adds, "We believe our customers see value in an equipment provider who not only provides a superior technological solution, but also listens to their needs and responds quickly. From a business standpoint we believe that adding significant customer-requested features in a short period of time will allow us to further expand our base of FWB deployment throughout the growing global marketplace."
