Axxcelera Products Receive USDA RUS Acceptance
SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2009) - Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, Inc., a Moseley Wireless Solutions Group Company and premier provider of broadband wireless communications products and technologies, has been granted acceptance by the Technical Standards Committee of the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as acceptable for inclusion in the List of Acceptable Materials maintained in the "Buy American" requirement. The "acceptable" decision qualifies Axxcelera's AB-MAX, ExcelMAX, AB-Full Access II and ExcelFlex products to be included in deployments financially supported by the "Broadband Technology Opportunities Program" of the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
The USDA Rural Development provides low-interest financing to rural telephone companies for telecommunications infrastructure in smaller communities throughout the United States. To be accepted, the USDA requires equipment to meet certain criteria that will ensure satisfactory performance in the network.
"Axxcelera is pleased to have been accepted under the RUS program which demonstrates Axxcelera's commitment to providing rural telephone companies with quality broadband wireless equipment," stated Jerry Kollmann, Senior VP of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support for Axxcelera. "We are eager to engage the American rural markets and leverage these stimulus monies for the benefit of the businesses and people in these areas."
