AB-Access technology enables simultaneous transmission of high-speed data, full streaming video, real-time video conferencing, and web surfing. This wireless point-to-multipoint and point-to-point solution for fixed networks enables customers, such as competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) and Internet service providers (ISPs), to leapfrog existing infrastructure, so the initial investment is significantly lower than that required for "wired" alternatives. This low-cost wireless infrastructure means that a complete network can be installed in days or weeks, instead of the typical months or years. And because AB-Access architecture is highly scalable, the network can grow as the business grows or as bandwidth needs evolve.The AB-Access advanced subscriber management features make the product particularly attractive to carriers, CLECs and ISPs. AB-Access enables immediate provisioning to allow end users (new subscribers) to be brought on-line quickly with a single, integrated unit. This feature minimizes cost, and enables fast and easy installation. Flexible tariffing allows service providers to bill subscribers not only for on-air time, but also by amount of bandwidth usage, time of day, or other criteria.

AB-Access technology operates in the Unlicensed-National Information Infrastructure (U-NII band) domestically and in the 5.8 GHz frequency internationally. With AB-Access carriers and service providers - such as competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs), Internet service providers (ISPs), Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), and International Exchange Carriers (IXCs) - can leapfrog existing infrastructure and install a complete network in weeks or even days. What's more, the network is easily scalable to support growing capacity needs and bandwidth intensive business applications.
